Hon. (Chief) Eugene Inoaghan, Chairman of Sapele Local Government Council in Delta state, in his message to the people, congratulated the good people of Sapele Local Government Area for being alive and well to witness another Democracy Day Celebration.

Chief Inoaghan in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tagbarha Malcolm noted that “this is the nineteenth democracy day celebration being celebrated, since the return of civil rule in 1999”.

“This year's Democracy Day presents the very first opportunity for me to share my thoughts and vision as the Executive Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area”, he said.

“While I am bent on giving the town a new lease of life by working assiduously to restore the confidence of the people towards governance, my vision for the good people of Sapele is to have a city with a combination of administrative redesign, economic re-engineering and the creation of a peaceful and enabling environment that will foster the growth of small and medium scale enterprises and thus, attract new industries and business concerns is still sacrosanct”.

According to Chief Eugene Inoaghan, “In as much as I am very confident that my administration's effort will yield fruits, I wish to implore the good people of Sapele to continue to support and encourage my administration in this onerous task, and in the spirit of collective responsibility”.

“Together we shall make Sapele GREAT again”, the LGA chairman stated.
