DRUGS ABUSE: SMOKING OF WEED/MARIJUANA IS A HINDRANCE TO GOOD LEADERSHIP......Margaret K. Julius

MARGARET K. JULIUS
Research had found that high percentage of the Nigerian future leaders are on drugs and smoking of weed/marijuana.

The damage weed/marijuana smoking does to the body cannot be over emphasized; the positive side of such act to the body (if truly there is any) cannot be compared to the negative it imputes to the human body

Below are seven out of hundreds effects of smoking weed/marijuana.
1. It clogs the arteries thus causes damage to the blood vessels.

2. It may increase testicular cancer risk.

3. It causes short time memories.

4. It hinders creativity in the life of the youth.

5. It could destroy brain cells.

6. It can triple the risk of death from hypertension.

7. It can make one vulnerable to Alzheimer.

I noticed that there are so many articles, discussions about such act going on in the media but, the problem (drug abuse and weed/smoking etc) is increasing rather than decreasing.
It is now high time for all who wish this great nation good will, rise up and fight against this dangerous but curable act, is all about determination.
We can bring back the glory of this great nation, Nigeria.
There is always a solution given to mankind before the emergence of any problem. If we fold our hands and refuse to take action on how to bring a permanent healing in the life of those involved in such act, the consequence will affect all of us directly or indirectly.
The Eye Opener Youth/Women Organization is out to go to the root that leads to such acts in the life of the youth/women. We are determined to do the right thing, thus, bring a permanent solution.
We love all who are involved in such habit but dislike the bad habit and I boldly say that there is no hopeless situation.
Can anyone who finds him/herself in leadership position with the aforementioned challenges leads well?
Things change with changes!!
