"I Am A Dedicated And Loyal Member of PDP"..... ONUESOKE Insists

Amidst fears of the growing political profile and dedication of Chief Sunny Okpako Onuesoke, a loyalist of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and a one-time gubernatorial aspirant in Delta state, mischief makers are reportedly working at discrediting his name.



In their desperation to discredit the PDP chieftain, rumours has it that Chief Sunny Onuesoke has perfected plans to defect to the opposition party in the state.

However, in a swift reaction, Chief Sunny Onuesoke has debunked the claims through a statement signed by his Special Assistant on New Media, Efe Peter which was made available to Naij News Alert on Sunday evening.

According to statement, Chief Onuesoke, noted that he remains a dedicated member of the PDP, describing the purported report as laughable.

"Our attention has been drawn to an online publication suggesting that Chief Sunny Onuesoke has concluded plans to defect to the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta state".

"Ordinarily, we would have ignored such laughable rumour, however, we wish to state unequivocally that he remains a dedicated member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP", the statement stressed.

It would be recalled that, Chief Sunny Onuesoke has been a very strong critic, constructively, of the opposition party both at the state and national levels and his unflinching dedication to his political party must have irked the opposition which could be responsible for such rumours.

When Naij News Alert placed a call to the outspoken environmental and social critic, he expressed his disappointment with how some nigerians would go low to attempt to disparage his person with such unfounded rumours.

"I am a loyal and dedicated member of the Peoples Democratic Party", he stated.
