KADUNA 2019: “EL-RUFAI HAS LOST TOUCH WITH REALITY; Let’s Unite To Kick Him Out”……Maiyaki

With the high level of despondency being recorded amongst the teeming youths and the electorates in Kaduna state against the All Progressives Congress, APC led by Governor Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai, a call has been made for all concerned to join forces together in ensuring that the ruling party is sacked from office, come 2019.

This was the call by Alhaji Ahmed Maiyaki, Director General, Media and Publicity to His Excellency, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, when he enjoined all hands to be on deck in unity to change the present government under the leadership of Governor Nasir el-Rufai of the APC.

Maiyaki, a seasoned and well versed media practitioner, disclosed that Kaduna state requires a “political emergency response to take her out of its present quagmire”.

The former Director General in charge of Media and Publicity of the Yero administration is now in the camp of Alhaji Mohammed Sani Sidi, immediate past boss of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), one of the gubernatorial aspirants seeking to run on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the state.

“Kaduna state presently is bedeviled with lots of insecurity ranging from kidnapping, cattle rustling, unwarranted killings, coupled with abject poverty and sufferings among several other negativities”, the media expert revealed.

Maiyaki, while interacting with media practitioners during the Sallah celebration at his residence, reiterated that; “like I have always said before now, the present governor does not know Kaduna state and being an elitist person, has lost touch with reality particularly at the grass roots”.

“Kaduna as at today is among the most insecure state in the country; insecurity everywhere and I am aware that flights to Kaduna state have severally been cancelled for fear of insecurity such as kidnapping which has become rampant in the state”.

“The present leadership in the state has brought so much fear to the people; people now wake up without knowing what will happen to them next, either they get unwarrantedly sacked, retired compulsorily or their houses unjustly demolished”.

“So, the good people of Kaduna must join hands together to change this government and replace it with someone who has the feelings of the people at heart”, he stressed.

“As a close associate of one of the governorship aspirants, Honourable Sani-Sidi, I believe he is one aspirant that has what it takes to provide the right leadership for the good people of Kaduna State”.

“I am aware there are a lot of campaigns to malign his person, but, I want to let you know that no amount of political blackmail will deter him, should he emerge the flag bearer of the PDP and governor of the state, in providing the right leadership”.
