NASS INVASION: “A COUP D'ETAT AGAINST DEMOCRACY AND NIGERIA”…….ONUESOKE

ABUJA- Nigerians woke up Tuesday to news of the invasion of the National Assembly by armed operatives of the Department of State Services with “orders from above” to prevent entry into the complex by anybody.

 

Sunny Onuesoke, a political analyst and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in a press release issued in the nation’s capital, Abuja,

 described the invasion of the National Assembly premises Tuesday morning by the masked operatives of the DSS, as “a coup d’état that didn't succeed”.

According to the PDP chieftain, he recommended that  those involved in the attempted rape of our democracy, should be arrested and tried in a special tribunal or constituted court of jurisdiction.  

“If the DSS boss is arrested, he will confess other accomplices involved in the failed coup at the National Assembly”.

“You will recall that my friend; Timi Frank exposed the coup that happened today, open to the public since yesterday and spoke about an attempt by the DSS, APC National Chairman, Oshiomhole, Akpabio, Ameachi e.t.c of planning to invade the NASS today”.

“So, it was a coup d’état and, all those involved should be arrested immediately. With the DSS putting on masked faces, it simply shows that it was a coup that failed. In the military parlance, it is viewed as a masked police or security personnel going on a “mission to kill or give witness to a hardened criminal”. Putting on masks or, sending masked security personnel to a parliamentary building, globally, is a crime against the immunity of the NASS”.

“It obvious now to Nigerians and the world in general that, APC has failed our country and they should humbly resign or, face treasonable offence trials immediately”, the statement concluded.
