BREAKING NEWS: EL-RUFAI REPORTEDLY INVOLVED IN AUTOMOBILE CRASH; "It's Not True", Says Media Adviser

Kaduna: News making the rounds in the Kaduna state capital presently, has it that the state Governor, Mallam Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai was late yesterday, involved in a ghastly automobile crash.
According to sources in the state, the governor was reported to be returning to Kaduna from Kano where he had allegedly attended a meeting with some other APC governors to strategize on the rescheduled rerun elections in about six states.

But in a swift rebuttal via his Twitter handle, Muyiwa Adekeye, Special Adviser to Governor el-Rufai on Media and Communications tweeted;

"While Mallam Nasir @elrufai was at post election receptions in Kaduna on Sunday night, some liars placed him in Kano. Now, they are now spreading tales that he was involved in a fatal accident. Hatred is not political strategy". 

However, across the state, the story is gaining grounds following the absence of the very responsive Governor who is known for immediately reacting to issues either via his Twitter handle or appearances on state managed television stations.

As at the time of filing in this report, no response has emanated from his official or personal Twitter handles to refute or state otherwise.
