BREAKING: KAJURU LOCAL GOVT UNDER CURFEW AGAIN AS VIOLENCE ERUPTS.

"The 24-hour curfew in the entire Kajuru LGA is with immediate effect and, will be enforced until further notice".


Kasuwan Magani town, in Kajuru Local Government in Kaduna state, Northwest Nigeria, has erupted into violence with the state government imposing a 24hours curfew in the entire Kajuru Local Government Council area.

This is coming up few hours after the imposition of a dusk to dawn curfew earlier announced by the Kaduna state Deputy Governor, Arc. Bala Barnabas on Friday morning.

This announcement was contained in a statement issued by Samuel Aruwan, Spokesman to Governor Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai on Media and Publicity.

According to the statement, Aruwan said; "Following events in Kasuwan Magani, the dusk to dawn curfew that has been in place in Kajuru LGA has been extended to 24-hours in the entire local government area".

"The 24-hour curfew in the entire Kajuru LGA is with immediate effect and, will be enforced until further notice".

Kasuwan Magaini has been in the news since 2018 following clashes which erupted in the community, claiming lives of many with properties worth several millions destroyed.
