The SDP Governorship candidate in the just concluded elections in Kaduna state, mal. Haruna Sa'eed Kajuru has condemned the killing of the British national at the Kajuru Castle over the weekend.

Haruna Sa'eed, in his statement at Easter, while calling on Christians to abide with the dictates of the tenets of the teachings of Jesus Christ, noted that without peaceful coexistence, no nation can develop or grow.

The SDP governorship candidate described security of lives and properties as a key ingredient which is essential in human existence that must be provided by government for the citizenry to function effectively as one life lost, can never be regained.

Mal. Haruna Sa'eed Kajuru appealed to government and security agents for improved patrols to curb the increased reports of kidnappings and killings that has made the state earn negative publicity in recent times.

"Kajuru Castle located in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna state has always been a huge tourist attraction for several decades without reports of such incidences. It is a sad and unfortunate development, especially now with the concerted efforts by the state and federal governments to curb the activities of criminal elements who are hell bent to torment trouble and bring the name of the state into disrepute.

He enjoined all to remain calm as the security agents fish for the perpetrators while also, pray for the leadership in the state and federal levels.
