Reason Why AVM Okorodudu Is Mad At The Minister And Lauretta Onochie ".... Elsie Ijorogu Reed Explodes

"BSO is not a place to share money. It is against the ideology of Mr. President".

"Many do not understand that it is not about money but the strong desire to work for our nation. I have nothing to gain. I have a good job and I am a professional and I am also not struggling for appointments"..... Elsie Halima Ijorogu Reed.

Following allegations of misappropriation of funds leveled against Lauretta Onochie, New Media aide to Nigeria's President, a top member of the Delta state chapter of the Buhari Support Organisation, BSO, Elsie Halima Ijorogu Reed has come out to the defense of the tough talking presidential aide.

Elsie Halima Ijorogu Reed, who served as Head of the Media team of BSO in Delta state, while speaking exclusively with Naij News Alert's Executive Editor, Emmanuel Onotevure, said there was need for the records to be set right so that supporters and admirers including non-supporters alike of President Muhammadu Buhari would get to know the true position as it relates to the allegations being leveled against Onochie.

Reed, in a lenghty telephone conversation, stressed that the entire outburst by those peddling the falsehood was because, certain funds meant for the BSO Women and Youths in Delta state were not allowed to be shared by those who thought BSO was all about sharing money.

"BSO was not about sharing of money as the organisation was more about volunteering towards the 2019 presidential elections and because some persons were not given the opportunity, they felt the next step is to malign Onochie".

"I am privy to information at the BSO having served as Head of the media team of the BSO in Delta state and I can confidently say on good authority that the Delta state Coordinator, AVM Terry Okorodudu and his wife are responsible for these unsavoury attacks against the person of Lauretta Onochie who is an aide to Mr. President on New Media and also, an indigene of Delta state and coincidentally, from the same village as Mrs. Okorodudu".

"I will not be suprisedto discover that the BSO Coordinator in Delta state, AVM Terry Okorodudu who, obviously, is angry with the state executives for being sidelined in the election activities, is responsible for the publications against Onochie", Elsie stated.

"How can one man single handedly prepare a budget of such magnitude without any input from his fellow executive members? It is no surprise that other members of the exco decided to sideline him having discovered his real intentions. The BSO is not about sharing money or a platform to be used for personal purpose but for the Women and Youths".

When tasked on the weighty allegations of diversion and misappropriation of funds meant for the BSO in Delta state, Halima Ijorogu Reed said it was all tissues of lies against Onochie as it was as a result of the humongous budget presented by AVM Terry Okorodudu being turned down that resulted in the use of threats and the launch of a campaign of calumny by Mrs. Okorodudu.

"His wife began calling people and threatening everyone before the elections that her husband was not given money and was being excluded and as such, would go to the press if he was not included".

It is pertinent to state here that, "no money was given to Lauretta Onochie but instead, to Delta state BSO. BSO Women and Youth, Delta state chapter, has given full account of monies received, to the relevant offices at the BSO National and it is also very necessary to say here that, BSO was given money as a group for purposes properly guided by the national office and not for personal use or to be shared. BSO is not a place to share money. It is against the ideology of Mr. President, she disclosed, saying most of the members of the BSO are volunteers and this included her good self and, as volunteers, they were not expecting to be paid.
