"Ayade's victory, a victory for the entire Cross Riverians and other Nigerians resident in the state".... Austin Akan.
"The victory will provide the governor the opportunity to continue with the good work he has already started since 2015".
Chief Austin Akan, a prominent Cross River State based business tycoon, has joined many other sons and daughters of the state to congratulate the Governor, Sir Ben Ayade on his victory at the Election Petition Tribunal.
In a congratulatory message titled; "A Victory Well Deserved" and dated September 12, 2019, Chief Akan, a renowned philanthropist, politician and a top investor in the hospitality industry, maintained that Sir Ben Ayade's victory at the election tribunal, reasserted the reality that the people of Cross River State actually gave the Governor the mandate through their overwhelming votes during the last election, so as to lead them for the second term.
Chief Akan, in his Congratulatory message, a copy which was made available to Naij News Alert, reaffirmed the peoples belief in the Governor.
He said; "I am not surprised that the tribunal reaffirmed the Governor's victory and mandate which the people of the state gave him".
Akan maintained that the victory of Ayade was a victory for the entire Cross Riverians and other Nigerians resident in the state.
He reasoned that the victory will provide the governor the opportunity to continue with the good work he has already started since 2015.
Chief Akan therefore called on the people on the other side of the divide to come together and support Sir Ayade to build a united and prosperous state where there will be greater opportunities for all, while urging the governor to see his victory as a Divine call to duty to put up his all and all for the development of Cross River State.
