BAYELSA: "No Victor No Vanquish" ..... Secondus Tells Duoye Diri
The February 13th nullification of the victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC as winner of the November 2019 Governorship election, has resulted in the People's Democratic Party, PDP become the beneficiary of the Supreme Court decision.
With Senator Diti Duoye now declared as the new Governor-elect of Bayelsa state, Senator Diri Duoye and his deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, have presented their certificates of return to the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
On receipt of the Certificates of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Abuja, the duo of Senator Duoye and Ewhrudjakpo headed straight to the Legacy House, Abuja to present their certificates to the party leadership.
Receiving the newly declared Governor-elect, the party chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, declared that there is "No Victor, No Vanquished" in the November 16, 2019 gubernatorial election in the state.
Secondus admonished the Governor-elect to unite the people of the state as he also called on the people to support the new leadership.
