Delta NAPTIP Zonal Commander Commends Okowa, Mrakpor.
The Delta state had been commended for its commitment towards the eradication of Human Trafficking and its vices from the State.
The commendation came from the NAPTIP Zonal Commander in Delta state, Mrs. Ifeoma Uduok while on a courtesy visit to the Attorney General, Commissioner for Justice and Chairman, Delta State Task Force on Human Trafficking, Mr Peter Mrakpor.
Speaking during the courtesy visit, the Chairman, while highlighting efforts and achievements already attained by the Taskforce since its inauguration by His Excellency, Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr Okowa, in March 2019, encouraged NAPTIP to keep up with its good works in fighting Human Trafficking.
In her response, Mrs. Ijeoma Uduok, commended the efforts of the Governor even as she praised the detailed vision of the Chairman of the Taskforce.
Members of the Taskforce which included Dr. Genevieve Mordi, SSA on International Affairs and Special Duties as well as Chairman of DBS Board, Hon. Felix Ofou and others, were also on hand to lend their unflinching support to the Honourable Chairman.
