POLITICS: HASSAN HYAT.... The Game Changer In Kaduna PDP
With the ongoing preparations by members of the People Democratic Party, PDP Kaduna state chapter set to hold its Congress at the state level in the 23 Local Government Councils across the state, stakeholders have continued to drum support for their respective candidates.
Among the contestants for the office of Chairman of the party is Chief Felix Hassan Hyat, the incumbent occupier of the office who is touted as the "Most Suitable of all the candidates" and as such, deserves a return to his position.
This is the outcome of a grassroot vox populi recently organized by a group of stakeholders of the party to test the pulse of the party's loyalists and supporters alike on who is best suited to lead the party towards 2023 in its quest to return the PDP back to power, both at the state and national level.
A group under the name, "Hassan Hyat 2020 Mandate", on Monday disposed that while it is acknowledged that all other candidates for the Chairmanship position are qualified to contest, the battle to rescue the soul of Kaduna state PDP, the state itself and Nigeria at large, requires intelligence, intellectual capacity, experience and patience including the political capacity to lead, across diverse groups, religions and ethnicity.
The Group, while speaking with Naij News Alert Publisher, noted that "the only person amongst the candidates that fit this bill is no other than the former Honourable Minister of State (Aviation), Chief Hassan Felix Hyat who is politically knowledgeable, calculative and, a humble and accessible personality".
The Convener of the group, Prince GBENGA "GMoney" Owojaiye stressed that the PDP needs the political capabilities of Honourable Hassan Felix Hyat to lead Kaduna state to victory in 2023 as, he has the political will to deliver on the task ahead.
He called on all true lovers of democracy in the party to support Chief Hassan Hyat in the forthcoming party Congress scheduled for April 14, 2020.
