A randy cleric serving in Okuno village of Idjerhe Kingdom, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta state has been caught pants down while providing "unholy ministration" to a female member of his congregation.

According to sources, the randy pastor, names withheld, was caught in the act with the female member who is also said to be married and her husband, an elder of the Church.

Youths in the community who became incensed with the sacrilegious act, wasted no time in dealing with the randy Pastor, described to be in his mid-thirties.

"Exposed for the sexual escapades, the youths stretched him out and dealt over 36 lashes of whip on his back as punishment", our sources revealed.

However, some residents in the community have queried the exoneration of the female member who is also culpable as they have continuously asked; "why was the woman exempted from the punishment? Why punish the said pastor alone if truly they are doing the right thing? 

One of the residents, David Ovuakporaye Odafe, while speaking with our correspondent, expressed concerns with the one sided punishment.

"Was it a set-up or a conspiracy theory? What is good for the goose is also good for the gander", Odafe stated.

Another of the community residents who did not want his name on print, said there is need for the some of this clerics to undergo reorientation as to how to comport themselves and shame the devil by avoiding immoralities such as the above.
