EDO 2020: COMRADE AGOL EMERGES NNPP GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE

"On behalf of the National Leadership of the New Nigeria People's Party, NNPP, we hereby present the next Governor of Edo State who will surely be the first ever female governor in the history of Nigeria".

Following a free, fair and transparent governorship primary, Honourable Comrade Ebunoluwa Tracy Agol, has emerged the Governorship Candidate of the New Nigeria People's Party, NNPP, in Edo state.

With the emergence of Comrade Agol, other aspirants who vied for the ticket of the party, have all promised to collapse their structure into her campaign team and work with her to rescue Edo State in the interest of the party. 

This was the disclosure of Rev. Emmanuel Olorunmagba, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, in a statement issued shortly after the party's primaries.

Tasked on why the primaries was not so elaborate, Olorunmagba stressed that "it is worthy to note that in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, we decided not to organize elaborate primary". 

"However, the modus operandi still allows the wishes of the delegates to hold", he said.

"On behalf of the National Leadership of the New Nigeria People's Party, NNPP, we hereby present the next Governor of Edo State who will surely be the first ever female governor in the history of Nigeria".

The party chieftain congratulated Honourable Agol for emerging victorious at the primaries.

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary congratulated the entire family of NNPP and the good people of Edo State, saying; Liberation has finally come your way by the help of God.
