DEATH OF TOLU AROTILE.... NNPP calls For Thorough Investigations

"NNPP calls for thorough investigations into the remote and direct causes of the death of the 24 years old Kogi State born pilot and make the finding public, as some Nigerians are already suspecting that there may be more to the information released to the public". 

The death of Nigeria's first female combat helicopter pilot, Ms. Tolulope Oluwatoyin Sarah Arotile on Tuesday in a car accident in Kaduna, has continued to attract sympathy and condolence messages from far and wide. 

A statement on Thursday evening from the office of the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the New Nigeria People's Party, NNPP commiserates with the family of the young pilot, describing her death as unfortunate and a huge loss. 

The statement which was signed by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary,  Reverend Emmanuel Olorunmagba, said "the New Nigerian People's Party (NNPP) commiserates with the good people of Kogi State and the family of Tolulope Arotile, the first female combat helicopter pilot, who was announced to have died as a result of the head injuries sustained in a road accident yesterday Tuesday July 14, 2020 at NAF Base, Kaduna". 

The NNPP in the statement, however "calls for thorough investigations into the remote and direct causes of the death of the 24 years old Kogi State born pilot and make the finding public, as some Nigerians are already suspecting that there may be more to the information released to the public". 

Olorunmagba, in the statement stressed that, "In the light of the above, proper clarification is needed after investigations and we hope that this government will value the citizens enough to clear air on the suspicion".

The position of the NNPP follows the thinking of several other personalities within and beyond the state and have also, lent their voices to a thorough investigation into the death of Tolu Arotile.
