I CAN SEE clearly that the campaign of the gubernatorial election of Edo State between APC & PDP is not about their trust in the votes of the Edo people but in their competitive strengths in vote buying and murderous rigging.

APC and PDP are the same destiny traders. They ate merchants that trade against the joy of the people. For short, let us call them APPDPC.

To APPDPC, the people are subject to the 'power' of the fittest. It is neither 'Power To The People' nor an 'All Progressives Congress' that favours the electorates.

Both political parties are very aware of how gullible most of the voters are. They know that some Nigerian voters are worse than Esau who hungrily sold his birth right for a pot of porridge as if there was no tomorrow. APPDPC know fully well that some citizens could kill for 2k on election day and hawk their mother's wrapper for a bottle of beer to celebrate the victory of their cunning oppressor. 

When the results will be finally announced, many of the oppressed will die as they stylishly show their cycling talents atop motor bikes while some will fall headlong from lorries as they loosely hang like careless labels on a badly wrapped loaf of bread. 

I pray to see a day when I will no longer criticize those in office because of their failures, but to praise the many who changed Nigeria for good and blessed the souls of our heroes past because they put smiles on the faces of the living both poor and rich. 

That day will not come until my people realize that good governance does not come only from the wallet of wealthy candidates but from the dry pockets of determined, passionate and focused hearts of the unpopular.  Those who from the seeming nothingness of their today could massively change lives and we shall gladly witness our children belly-filled to bed with families singing happy songs in herald of another tomorrow. Songs rendered under moonlights without fear of attacks from bandits and murderous herdsmen lurking around eerie bushes.

The joy ahead may not come if in our thoughts, we see just the same APC and PDP who for 21 years, made us the mockery of the world and the shame of a blessed continent.

For this to happen, somebody must tell somebody to tell somebody to vote for the CHANGE upon which we were deceived since 2015. Their slogans are tissues of lies and their collective failures are no longer strangers.

Nothing will change until we learn to burn a broom and burn an umbrella.

Our collective votes determines our collective destiny.
