ZONE B COMMANDER, NSCDC TASKS KADUNA RESIDENTS ON SECURITY THREATS

"Security agencies on their part are doing everything professionally possible to make the state habitable"..... Says NSCDC ACG Awili Ediba

Kaduna residents have been tasked on the importance of sharing information with security agencies especially on threats in order to control the menace of insecurity in the state.

This was the assertion of the Zone B Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, ACG Pedro Awili Ediba on Thursday, 09 July in Kaduna at the formal commissioning of the Command Headquarters, donated by the State Government and its newly constructed office of NSCDC Cooperative and Investments Society executed by the present executive officials.

In a statement signed by ASC Orndiir Terzungwe CDPRO on behalf of the State Command, the Zonal Commander disclosed that security agencies on their part are doing everything professionally possible to make the state habitable.

The Zone B Commander warned that, "we will gain nothing by killing, rather it is only when we ensure peace that development will thrive.'

Before the symbolic Commissioning of the State Headquarters, the Zonal Commander applauded efforts of the State Commandant Babangida Abdullahi Dutsinma for his achievements in 11 months tenure. 

He highlighted some of the successes attained by the Commandant as donation of office, operational vehicles and strategic deployment among others.

Ediba urged officers and men of the command to continue with support to the Commandant, especially in intelligence gathering, noting that with team spirit the corps will achieve more.

He also applauded the vision of the Command's cooperative society which resulted in the construction of a new office complex in order to address the welfare needs of personnel.

On his part, Chairman of the Society, DSC Peter Akawu explained that the society places high premium on both short and long-term needs of the personnel.
