OBITUARY: Family Announces Burial Plans For Tony Ebireri

A popular chemical engineer, banker and brand manager, Mr. Tony Ebireri, is dead.

The man of many talents was 50.

Ebireri died on Tuesday, January 25, 2021 following a protracted illness.

"Mr. Anthony Ebireri will be laid to rest on Friday, May 7, 2021 in Ugbimidaka-Elume, Sapele Local Government", a statement by the Head of the Family, Mr. Wilson Ebireri, said

"The Christian wake will take place at the family compound, 1 Marford Close, Off Reclamation Road, Sapele on Thursday, May 6, 2021".

Tont Ebireri began his career with Nestle Nigeria PLC, one of the largest food and beverage companies in Africa, as a brand manager.

He also worked in United Bank for Africa (UBA) PLC as Brand Manager, Prestige Banking and Chief Operating Officer/ Business Manager, Dekento Limited. 

A business man and politician, Ebireri earned his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Benin and a Master’s Degree from University of Lagos in Business Administration.
