JOIN HANDS WITH UGHELLI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL TO ENCOURAGE THE YOUNG ONES EDUCATIONALLY…… KPOHRAROR

"One of the major problems that have become the bane in our society today is poor parental upbringing".... Kpohraror.

"The Adode administration in Ughelli North Local Government Council is poised to deliver quality democracy dividends to all residents of the Local Government Area".

Poor parental upbringing has today, become the bane in our society and this, to an extent, responsible for the increasing level of insecurity that the nation is experiencing.

This was the admonishment of Comrade Kpohraror Emmanuel, Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Executive Chairman, Ughelli North Local Government Council Area of Delta State while speaking on the need to encourage youths, especially the younger generation to embrace educational advancement if they truly seek to gain prominence, legitimately.

Kpohraror, in his statement, appealed to prominent personalities resident within and outside the Council area, organizations and other stakeholders to join hands with the Executive Chairman of the Ughelli North Local Government Council, Hon Chief Godwin Adode (JP) in his quest to provide educational growth to the younger ones in the community.

According to Kpohraror, one of the major problems that have become the bane in our society today is poor parental upbringing.

“With the way the world is leaning towards materialism, fast life and easy money, many parents have failed in their parental obligations and this has further worsened the situation. Parents do not ask their children where they get the clothes, devices and other accessories they possess and are more concerned with the show off of their wards and children”.

“This has, unfortunately brought about an increase in the level of crime and criminality that is currently being witnessed across the country”.

He called on youths to eschew crime and criminality as that will not be beneficial to their sustenance in life or wellbeing, but will only create untold hardship to their families and loved ones.

“The Adode administration in Ughelli North Local Government Council is poised to deliver quality democracy dividends to all residents of the Local Government Area and as such, I am appealing to all to support this administration create an enviable environment that will provide educational growth for our youths and make them become more useful to themselves and their families”.

“The Executive Chairman, as we all know, is concerned about the development and self-sustainability of the youths in his council area. His track records are there for all to see right from his first term till date”.

“All we ask for is the unalloyed support of everyone towards the success of the Godwin Adode administration that is primed to deliver quality governance, transparent leadership, fairness and justice to all”.

“Parents have a role to play in guiding their children and wards in becoming better and more responsible citizens for our society to thrive better”.

The Special Adviser equally appealed to the youths in the council area to see themselves as part of the Adode administration and therefore, proffer useful advisory on how the government of the day can serve them better.

He also called on the members of the “Team Tete for Okowa, Tete Again” not to relent in propagating the message of their principal which is etched on Good Governance, Transparency, Fairness, Justice and Rule of Law.

He further charged the youths to take up "Skills acquisition" training as a way of self sufficiency while also noting that skill acquisition will provide them with gainful employment and also, create empowerment to other youths around them.

"Taking up skill acquisition will  enable them become employers of labour and their own boss. Learning one form of handiwork will give you a legitimate source of income. We have many youths around that took up skill acquisition programmes and today, have been able to also train several others to become their own bosses", Kpohraror counselled.
