The Executive Assistant on Communications to the Delta state Governor, Chief Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq has congratulated the the newly elected President of the Athletic Federation of Nigeria, AFN, Chief Tonobok Okowa.

Oghenesivbe, a strong lover of sports, described the victory of the multiple champion Chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, Chief Okowa as well deserved.

Oghenesivbe, in a post on his WhatsApp news platform, EACGOVDELTA, revealed that Tony Okowa polled 41 out of 44 votes and emerged unopposed at the election held at the National Stadium Abuja, on Monday June 14, 2021.

"This is another superlative victory for Delta State, and for our amiable sports administrator, Chief Tony Okowa", the EACGovDelta stated.
