"We are consoled by the fact that God has taken His servant home, as it should be by divine will. Her last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what she was born for, lived for and died for".
The African Church family, Nigeria has announced with great sadness, the demise of the President, The African Church Women's League and wife of the Primate of The African Church, Lady Evang. Ene Emmanuel Udofia whom God has called into eternal rest after her labour of faith and love.
The entire African Church family, in a statement issued and signed on behalf of the Church, by its General Secretary, Evangelist Eddy Orogun, disclosed that it was with a heavy heart, but in total submission to the will of the Almighty God, that it is announcing the demise of Lady Evang Ene Emmanuel Udofia.
According to the statement by Evang. Eddy Orogun, "we are consoled by the fact that God has taken His servant home, as it should be by divine will. Her last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what she was born for, lived for and died for".
"The African Church family condoles with the Primate of The African Church, His Eminence Dr. Emmanuel Josiah Udofia at this trying time, and prayed God to comfort him".
"The Church equally appreciates the love, prayers and concern shown by members of the public and the entire African Church faithful at this time and also requests a moment of privacy for the family", the statement conluded.
