DPV MEETING AT KOKO: EJELE SPOKE THE MINDS OF DELTANS ON THE 2023 GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION. By Comrade Monday Odaka,

.... Commends the Delta state Governor for setting a Developmental Blue Print that is based on prudency, equity, fairness and justice, that is anchored on steadfastness, on delivery of Dividend of Democracy to all Deltans.

The National chairman of Delta Political Vanguard (DPV) Hon Michael Diden, a.k.a, Ejele - the Board Chairman of DESOPADEC, has stated unequivocally, in clear terms, while addressing the mammoth crowd of DPV members who came to Koko on Sunday during DPV PDP pressure group meeting in Warri North LGA of Delta State,

The former House of Assembly member, Hon. Ejele, first, narated to members of the DPV, their recent encounter with DC-23 leadership, during the groups' visit to the leadership of Delta Political Vanguard (DPV) in Asaba recently.

According to the Former warri North LG Chairman, Hon Diden, he stated that, DC-23 came with a request for the Delta Political Vanguard to support their quest to produce the next Governor from Urhobo nation.

While responding to their request, the leadership of DPV, under Hon Michael Diden, told them on the need for equilibrium, since DPV is not opposed to Urhobo or any Senatorial District  producing the next Governor, but that their only slogan is; "Okowa leads, we follow" Anywhere Okowa Go, We Go; which they all noted, before the game later ended in Goalless draw..Diden.

Earlier, a minute silent was observed in honor of a fallen DPV and DTHA member, Late Hon Kenneth Ogba of Isoko South LGA of the State. 

In a related developement, the National Chairman of DPV Hon. Michael Diden, later urged all DPV Coordinators in the 25 LGA's of Delta State, to submit all the names of their DPV Executives to the National body, on or before the next DPV meeting.

Secondly, the DPV National Chairman, later admonished all the 25 Local Government DPV Coordinators to ensure that all DPV LG Executive lists, are all inclusive, all embracing and grassroots Oriented inline with the directive of the Governor, that any kangaroo list will not be accepted by DPV National body.

Thereafter, a vote of confidence was unanimously passed on Governor Okowa to finish strong, since the greatest task of a leader, is to hand over power to someone who could continue, from where he or she stopped. 

Other notable deltans/DPV members who came, were in agreement with DPV slogan, which says ; "Okowa lead, we follow". Anywhere Okowa Go, We Go".

Those who spoke later, included but not limited to Hon Ovie Agas - the Chief of Staff to Government House, Chief Hon Ifeanyi Eboigbe, Director of Protocols Government House/Director general Delta Political Vanguard,

Chief Charles Ufuoma Obule - the Erhi of Okpe kingdom, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, - House of Reps member representing Warri South LGA, they made it clear that His Excellency, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Authur Okowa is a prudent manager of men and material resources, apart from being a steadfast and responsible gentleman who keeps promise to the electorates. A quality which according to them, glued DPV to the Governor, hence they are determined, to make him their frontliner in 2023.

Thereafter, Chief Ifeanyi Ebeigbe, advised all deltans especially DPV members ,who are in position of Authority to always use their various positions to better the lives of their people and be of help to one another by knowing themselves, as member and Deltans, with the view to help one another, since the essence of Okowa Governance is to make lives meaningful to all Deltans.

He commended the Delta state Governor for setting a Developmental Blue Print that is based on prudency, equity, fairness and justice, that is anchored on steadfastness, on delivery of Dividend of Democracy to all Deltans.

A trait which according to Hon Diden, is worthy of Emulation.
