"The Deputy Governor, Barr Otuaro is more suited to succeed his principal in office, considering the wealth of experience he has garnered under 'Ekwueme' and I would therefore advise all other contenders to stand down and support his candidacy".... Omovudu.

"Barr Kingsley Otuaro  is a gift Deltans and as such, I will ask all aspirants to step down and allow the man who is well suited, capable and prepared, become the next Governor of the state".

The Deputy Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Barr Kingsley Otuaro, has been described as a complete gentleman, a lawyer, a man full of credibility with an overwhelming character that will continue with the good works of his principal, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, come 2023.

This was the assertion of Prince Roland Omovudu, a foundation member of the People's Democratic Party, PDP Delta State chapter.

Prince Omovudu, who is the Unit Head of Ward 6 in Sapele Local Government Area of the state has thrown his weight and support behind the aspirations and candidacy of the Ijaw born politician declaring that, amongst the various contenders seeking to succeed Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa at the Sir Dennis Osadebey House, seat of government of the oil Rich Delta State, Barrister Kingsley Otuaro stands height above others, owing to his rich CV, capacity and preparedness to serve the people of the state, come 2023. 

"In my candid opinion, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro, for the few years he has spent in Government House with Gov Okowa, one would hardly see him jumping from one party to another partying within Asaba Night clubs, owing his upbringing and spirituality. He is a Deacon and very decent personality", Omovudu stated.

According to the party chieftain, "it is not that I am an Ijaw by triibe and do not have any affiliation with Ijaw but decency and political rightness must be taken into consideration when searching for men of capacity to assume the Office of Governor". 

He opined that the Deputy Governor is more suited to succeed his principal in office, considering the wealth of experience he has garnered under 'Ekwueme' and would therefore advise all other contenders to stand down and support his candidacy.

Prince Omovudu, a retired Superintendent of Police, SUPOL, advised deltans to ignore the calls from some quarters by persons not very conversant with the political equations of the state to smear or attempt to malign, His Excellency, Barr Kingsley Otuaro under any guise.
