"I believe if we will hold debates and have aspirants tell the public why they want to be considered for elections, we will be able to isolate credible candidates for the right offices. So debate is the answer! Mr LA.

Frontline philanthropist, Politician and the people's choice for the Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the forthcoming elections in 2023, Mallam Lawal Adamu Usman, has counselled the electorates on the need to identify and know those they have chosen to vote for, as their leaders and representatives in order to secure their future and that of generations to come.

Lawal Adamu Usman, popularly known as Mr. LA, who is seeking to contest for the position under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, made this known on Sunday in a goodwill message.

According to Mr. LA, " I want to encourage the general public of the importance of getting to know those who we vote for. Our problems as a people reside solely on the choices we make. 

"We buy into the lies we are told, especially when we are given money. We assume that the people we are told to vote for, have our interests at heart. We are wrong. Such people only protect the interests of their masters. It is the reason we can’t go anywhere as a State and as a country. 

"I believe if we will hold debates and have aspirants tell the public why they want to be considered for elections, we will be able to isolate credible candidates for the right offices. So debate is the answer! He stated.

"I am respectfully calling upon our political, religious academic and community leaders to encourage these kinds of debates to take place and we should avail ourselves for questions and answers from the public. If we will do these we will not only give hope to the hopeless but will also encourage people to make the right choices. 

"It is said, Strength incites challenge, challenge incites conflict and conflict breeds catastrophe. We do not want to be in anymore catastrophe as we have witnessed recently."
