BANDITS ATTACK PMF CAMP, KILL 3 MOBILE POLICE MEN, ABDUCT SEVERAL OTHERS and camp burnt down

Bandity in Nigeria is reportedly assuming a frightening dimension in parts of the country with many military installations over-run by armed marauders and this, has caused many to lose their lives and means of livelihood including the displacement of thousands of inhabitants.

Reports monitored on social media and other newspapers revealed that on Saturday, February 05, 2022, armed bandits have sacked and burnt down a Police Mobile Force camp at Ishau, Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State, killing three officers.

Daily Trust reports reveal that the bandits were passing through the area when they encountered a team of mobile police officers.

“Residents told our correspondent that the terrorists were exiting Niger to Kaduna when they launched the attack on border communities,” the report published this Saturday afternoon, February 5, 2022.

It said that the Niger State Police Authorities could not be reached for comment as Wasiu Abiodun, spokesman of the command, was out of reach at the time of filing the report
