Fire Prevention and Fighting: FFS Sensitizes Women and Children Of Officers Wives Association

Women Undergo Training In Fire Prevention At FFS Hqtrs Abuja

"The Ag. CGF is determined to repeat same training for Market men and women as well as other sectors across the country with a view to creating awareness and securing the country from Fire and other related emergencies." ACF Abraham Paul.

As part of the ongoing sensitization and awareness drive by the Federal Fire Service of women and children in combating outbreak of fire and its prevention, the Acting Controller General of the FFS, on Saturday hosted Children and Fire Officers Wives' Association at the premises of the Headquarters of the Service.

According to the Acting CGF, Dr. Karebo Pere Samson, the FFS commenced training of the women and children on fire prevention and elementary fire fighting.

In a statement issued by ACF Abraham Paul, Public Relations Officer of the FFS, Dr. Karebo had in his take over speech, informed Nigerians that one of his major priorities will be to train and sensitize Nigerians on fire prevention and fire fighting.

"The Ag. CGF is determined to repeat same training for Market men and women as well as other sectors across the country with a view to creating awareness and securing the country from Fire and other related emergencies." The statement read.

Participants at the training session while thanking the Ag. CGF for the training,  expressed their excitement for the privilege to be trained and promised to  practice all that they have learnt.
