DELTA 2023:NANI BREAKS INTO AMORI'S STRONGHOLD, AS APF/OPF PASS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON NANI AND OYIBO.
"Barr. John Obukohwo Nani is deservedly, commended for his quintessential and detribalized
leadership qualities of equitable distribution of the dividends of democracy across
Idjerhe, Mosogar, Oghara and Urhobo kingdoms, without sentiments".
Two political pressure groups, under the aegis of Aghwemutuwevwi Political
Forum (APF) and Oyovwire Political Forum (OPF) whose National headquarters are
both residual in Jesse and Mosogar, have broken into the stronghold of Senator Chief
Ighoyota Amori.
The strongholds which are Ward 02 and beyond in Mosogar, were
invaded and captured, politically, by the two political groups, during
their joint APF/OPF Monthly Meeting in Mosogar on Sunday, wherein, via a
Motion and adoption of a unanimous Vote of Confidence, on the duo of Chief
Barr. John Obukohwo Nani for Senate and Chief Hon Wellington M. Oyibo for Ethiope
West House of Assembly, respectively, come 2023.
The endorsements, which came during the Monthly joint meeting of
APF, on Sunday, 30 January 2022; being an umbrella body to the Mosogar OPF,
encompasses her National Working Committee members, at the residence of Chief Honourable
Wellington M. Oyibo, the National leader of OPF and patron to APF, whereas, the
meeting was at the instance of notable OPF members from both ward 01 and 02 in
Mosogar.
Speaking during the event, Chief Wellington M. Oyibo JP, commended
Barr. John Obukohwo Nani for his quintessential and detribalized leadership
qualities of equitable distribution of the dividends of democracy across
Idjerhe, Mosogar, Oghara and Urhobo kingdoms, without sentiments.
The SSA to the Governor of Delta State and Ethiope West DTHA hopeful,
Chief Hon. Wellington M. Oyibo, reiterated that Senator Chief Ighoyota Amori
JP, has been so unfair to Ward 1 and some part of Ward 2 in Mosogar.
He condemned the act whereby, all the juicy positions that were
attracted to Mosogar; a result of the collective efforts of all, where
channeled to a particular section of his Evwonogbo/Ugbokpa Unit and/or
relatives. This he said, deprived Ugbakele, with the highest voting populations
in the same Ward 02 and the entire Ward 01, both in Mosogar, with the highest
voting population in the town, are all in total neglect.
Facts speak are available. See lopsided post to Evwonogbor/
Ugbokpa unit alone.
1) Endless Commissionership appointments; Brace, fmr Environment,
present Environment etc Multiple SAs, fmr. State PDP post, Fmr SSA post. Fmr

(14) Present aides to environment commissioners/ committees ,
(P.A, S.A to Commissions.) Etc, are all skewed to either his cronies from his
Evwonogbor/ Ugbokpa village unit or his relatives in Mosogar, at the detriment
of the populous Ugbakele segment/Unit in same ward 2. In addition, the most
populous ward 01 in Mosogar respectively.
Whereas, to repeat, the Most populated ward and Units in Mosogar,
is residual in ward 1, which gives the highest votes in all elections since
1999, in terms of wards and units aggregate votes, is being continually
shortchanged with reckless abandon, at the comfort of most leaders in the
LGA.
Currently, they are also planning to skew the EWLG house of
Assembly post coming to Mosogar, to same Ugbokpa segment, an act which Mosogar
politicians and people are vehemently resisting.
The high point of the event is the mass movement of over 30 Ward
02 new members, indicated their interest to work for John Obukohwo Nani's APF,
for Senate over their prolong neglect.
In view of the above, we have vowed to use this medium,
including all other available mediums, to call on all well meaning leaders of Ethiope
West, to intervene in the Mosogar pathetic situation, by ensuring that there is
equity in political power sharing in the town and Ethiope west at large. They appealed
to the leaders to prevail against the lopsidedness in the power sharing by
Chief Senator Ighoyota Amori JP; Chairman, Delta State Capital development
Agency.
They also called on the Ethiope West leaders to ensure that the next
DTHA Member is not zoned to the same Ward 2 Segment in Mosogar, as demanded in
the resolution by Mosogar people.
A stitch in time saves nine, as Ward 01 shall never again, accept
anything less than the DTHA ticket, this time.
Oyibo later commended the membership and oneness of the both
groups for the vote of confidence on Chief Barr. John Obukohwo Nani and
himself, assuring them of their full readiness to work in synergy/cooperation so
as to strengthen the unity and good ties between Idjerhe and Mosogar Kingdoms,
for a more peaceful and prosperous coexistence amongst our people.
He noted that today's development has further rekindled the
cordiality that existed between Idjerhe and Mosogar people, under the
leadership of the Aghwemutuwevwi of Idjerhe kingdom Chief Barr John Obukohwo
Nani's; via his political Ideology of ensuring oneness and equitable
distributions of Dividends of Democracy across Ethiope west and Urhobo at
large..
Also speaking, the National Coordinator of Aghwemutuwevwi Political
Forum, Engr. Ochuko Gbeburu from Ward 01 and the Media Director of APF, Comr.
Monday Odafevodidi Odaka of Ward 02 Mosogar, particularly endorsed Chief Barr.
John Obukohwo Nani as the most qualified aspirant for the Delta Central Senatorial
District position, judging from his philanthropic, humanness and detribalized
political antecedence, across Delta Central and Delta State at large.
In a similar development, Chairman of Oyovwire Political Forum in
Mosogar, Engr Mathew Ugbune (from the same Ward 02 Mosogar) vowed that the
groups will not relent in their efforts, to support Chief Barr John Obukohwo
Nani for the 2023 Delta Central Senatorial District post and Chief Wellington
Monday Oyibo JP for the Ethiope West House of Assembly position respectively. He
scored the two leaders high above all their contemporaries in the race.
