Whether those that are against fairplay and justice wishes me well or not, I shall live long and prosper. What they think about me is neither here nor there and I lose no sleep over it. It is only what God thinks about me that matters and they are not God. They do not like me and I do not like them and that is fine by me. We do not need to like each other and all we need to do is to meet on the field,
I find the assumption that His Exellency Dr Ifeanyi Okowa was made to swear before a deity to return power to the Ijaws, is not only despicable but also insulting and totally degrading and unacceptable. The Ijaws are not the only people that voted for His Exellency neither are they the only ones that contributed financially to his emergence. They do not have that number of delegates and, to believe they made His Exellency all by themselves, is totally unacceptable and utterly inexplicable. It is a very regrettable progression in error.
Whatever contributions they thought they rendered, they have been duly compensated with the position of the Deputy Governor. This is the truth and this is the issue they have to contend with.
The Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa I know, is a strong believer and an irrepressible servant and son of the Most High God that will never condescend to that level of fetishness because, he knows he serves a living God who neither sleeps nor slumbers. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, He is the One Strong and Mighty in battle and He can never be intimidated.
The Good people of Ijaw nation and Delta state PDP have spoken at different fora that it is the turn of Delta Central to Govern this state come 2023 and it will remain so.
Gov Okowa, as a devoted Christian who late last year stood before men and before the Alter of the Almighty God to tell us that he is waiting for God to direct him, will never bow before the prophet Baal and mock the name of the Most High God in such a deceitful manner .
Those banking on the goodwill of Chief Tompolo should know that he is one man that listens to superior arguments and has always stood for justice. Those in doubt should be wiser while taking into consideration, the outcome of Sen. Godswill Akpabio's visit to Gbaramatu after he issued an ultimatum to the federal government, to constitue the NDDC board or face the wrath of the people of Niger Delta. Tehehehe!!
I urge Deltans not to listen to any satanic agent of destabilisation because, it is clear that the closer we get to Party Primaries, the more they panic and the more falsehood and rubbish they will spew out. As I have said before, they have become prisoners of their own delusions and fantasies and victims of their own hallucinations.
Some of these aspirants should count themselves lucky that Nigerians have short memories if not, they should be in jail and for those turning logic on its head, they should also prepare themselves for the greatest humiliation and defeat in their political career because, after the party primaries or February18 2023, their ambition of becoming the Governor of Delta State will crumble before their very eyes and would have gone with the wind.
I tell you this for free and I make my boast in the name of He who came in the form of flesh.
The Lord will shame them. The Lord will shame their supporters. The Lord will ensure that Deltans finds peace and unity once again and that we, as a people, love one another once again as we once used to do.
We want peace. We want progress. We want justice. We want decency. We want righteousness in our nation. And above all, we want God to rule in our affairs. Enough of this! It is time to uphold what has brought relative peace, unity and sense of belonging to every senatorial district. It is time for all men of goodwill like the Ijaw Mandate Group, to speak truth to power by speaking and standing behind the principles of rotation.
I am sure that, after 2023, we will come back together once again as a united and blessed nation and be that which God wants us to be.
We will forge a new direction for our people. God will lead us, God will guide us and God will protect us. God bless us all.
God is irresistable. He sets the captives free and delivers those that are facing oppression and injustice. He is merciful to the faithful and kind to the courageous.
He is our shield, our glory and the lifter of our heads. Be strong and be bold for He is with us and He is mighty in battle.
In all things, in the end, His will shall be done, His counsel shall stand, His purpose shall be established and His name shall be glorified! In God we trust.
