NNPP LAUNCHES ONLINE TV STATION... Says Online Television Taking Over Conventional TV Stations.

The New Nigeria People's Party, NNPP has unveiled its Online Television station which will soon become the bride and darling of Nigerians with an array of quality trail blazing reportage fort he generality of society.

Head of the Media and Publicity Directorate of the NNPP, Rev Emmanuel Olorunmagba, who is also the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, in his speech at the event, disclosed that, the NNPP Tv will start setting the pace for media narration by taking proper advantage of the social media and the different possibilities of online presence.

Rev Emmanuel Olorunmagba, in his address at thr event which held on Saturday, 26 February at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja, disclosed that NNPP TV is the online television channel of the party. 

"It is kicking off today with the release of the YouTube Channel @NNPP TV and Facebook page @NNPPTV. And few days from now the fully hosted App version will be released for people to download both on Google Play Store and Apple Store." He said 

According to Olorunmagba, "those who are conversant with the media world would have realised that every major television station now has the online version of their channel and the online televisions are now attracting more audience and more interaction than the conventional ones. This is a clear indication that online television is gradually taking over from the conventional media. 

"As there are physical newspapers, there are also fully online newspapers; examples are Premium Times, Sahara Reporters, Opera News etc and any news item published on any of these fully online newspapers go viral.

"Therefore, the next media turn of event will be online television and newspapers. Hence, the New Nigeria People's Party is taking the lead among other political parties in Nigeria to own and operate online television." He stated.

He opined that, "as a party, the NNPP through its Media and Publicity Directorate can authoritatively assert that the New Nigeria People’s Party will not only continue to be the trail blazer, but we will start setting the pace for media narration by taking proper advantage of the social media and the different possibilities of online presence. 

"From next week, Nigerians will start seeing NNPP TV crew on the street, interviewing and interacting with Nigerians to feel their pulse and properly report through our television channel. Also Nigerians at different levels will be invited to our studio for interview and interaction with the public. Likewise NNPP TV crew will be seen during any political events or when there is expectation of major news at the National Assembly or any of the State Houses of Assembly. Hence, the importance of this launch before the crew hit the street, so that Nigerians won’t be wondering what could be happening when they see members of our crew on the street performing their duties. 

"Of course, the television will also be an avenue for projecting our great party and our candidates and enumerate what we can and will do differently and positively towards building the new Nigeria we all can be proud of and that the coming generation can boldly call their own country. 

"This launching just marked the beginning of our television operations, but we still have a lot to do to ensure that NNPP TV is fully functioning, but we have not been able to put all out today due to financial limitation. We have only done little based on our capacity for now. Thus, we want to conclude by calling for partnership from those who intend to contest under our party, as the television will be a major tool for projecting them, just like Putin and Donald Trump effectively used social media to ride to power, contending against the forces of conventional media with heavy equipment and worldwide coverage. 

Olorunmagba appealed to prospective aspirants on the platform of the NNPP to come and partner by supporting the NNPP Tv financially or with needed equipment.

This, according to him, will enable them  build a vibrant television and media presence together that can be used to set narratives and ensure both the party and her candidates are not overrun by propaganda.
