PROF. ANAS SABIR GETS RE-APPOINTED AS CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR UDUTH, SOKOTO

The Federal Government has appointed Prof. Anas Ahmad Sabir as the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Usman Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH) Sokoto.

The Honorable Minister of Health Dr. Osagie Emmanuel Ehanire, in a statement issued and signed by disclosed this on Monday April 25th, 2022 when the Minister issued him his renewal letter in his office.

The Minister congratulated Prof. Anas Sabir for his re-appointment and urged him to consolidate and improve upon his previous achievements to justify the confidence reposed on him.

Speaking further, Dr. Osagie said; ‘‘It is my expectation that you will continue to work collaboratively with all the stakeholders to ensure that the hospital continues to deliver quality health care service to our people.’’

The Minister said that the renewal of appointment will take effect as from May 17th, 2022.

In his acceptance speech, the Chief Medical Director, Usman Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital Sokoto, Prof. Anas Ahmad Sabir thanked the Federal Government for his re-appointment for giving him more opportunity to serve his fatherland.

Continuing, the CMD said the success he recorded during his first tenure is the support he derives from the Ministry and other stakeholders.
