TACKLING YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT: FG Sets Up Online Assembly. .... It Will Make Room For Their Active Participation In Nation Building.

In its avowed determination to addressing youth unemployment and further create a formidable platform towards ensuring youth participation in nation building, the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare will tomorrow declare open the Nigeria Online Youth Assembly (NOYA) with a view to tackling youth unemployment so as to make room for their active participation in nation building.

In a statement issued and signed by Mohammed Manga, the Director, Press and Public Relations Department of the Ministry on Sunday, Mr. Dare disclosed that the programme, which is slated to hold at Odo-emu in Osun State (for Southern region) and Jos, Plateau State (for the Northern region) will have 150 youth  participating from each  region.

"NOYA is tailored towards providing a platform for timely dissemination of information on career enhancement, training, job and employment placement opportunities via a unified platform." The Minister stated.

The President Muhammadu Buhari led administration since its inception has continually, through the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development ensured that Nigerian youth are empowered through various youth initiatives and programmes so as not to only make them self reliant but also employers of labour.
