Imo West Senatorial Seat 2023: Group Buys Form for Goodluck Nana Opiah

A group, under the auspices of Imo West Effective Representation Agenda 2023 has paid and collected the Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms for Rt. Hon Goodluck Nana Opiah for Imo West Senatorial Seat under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Rt. Hon. Goodluck Nana Opiah, who was the former speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, represented the people of Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area for eight years before he was elected to represent the people of Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency in 2015. He is currently the  Commissioner for Petroleum Resources. 

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja, after obtaining the forms, President of the group, Chief Larry Okoro, who was surrounded by other members of the group stated that, after due consultations with its members, decided  that Rt. Hon. Goodluck Nana Opiah's track record as a legislator made him the most qualified candidate for the position. 

He said Opia's track record of legislative accomplishments, human empowerment and record of constituency projects in the area, speaks for themselves.

He urged APC delegates in Imo West Senatorial District and Imo West electorates to elect Rt Hon Goodluck Nana Opiah as their Senator to put Imo West, Imo State and the Southeast in general in contest for presiding officer positions in the Nigerian Senate.
