SHADY DEALS ON NAEE LOAN EXPOSED: Subscribers Accuse Director General Of Double Standards ...Demand immediate disbursement of fund.

Thousands of subscribers of the National Association of Entreprises Employers (NAEE) CBN loan have accused the Director General of Naee Chief Solomon Akpan of playing double standard with the fund released by the federal government for the loan purposes.  

Arising from an enlarged meeting of the subscribers recently held in Asaba Delta State, the group lamented that the DG with some members of Naee management have refused the to do the needful with the fund, which was supposed to be disbursed in December 2021.

According to their spokesman Prince Chijoke Anyanwu, “we have made concerted efforts in trying to make sure the loan is disbursed but each time we reach the DG, he keeps blaming the delay on the Central Bank Governor Mr. Godwin Emefiele and other top management of CBN.”  

“We have contributed money severally to facilitate his travelling to Abuja to see that fund is released,” he continued. 

The subscribers frowned at the attitude of the DG especially in not giving them the right information.  According to them “he keeps telling us that the money is in CBN but to our greatest surprise, we just discovered the money is in NIRSAL account domiciled with Zenith Bank; and he the DG along with some staff of Zenith Bank and CBN invested the money in a fixed deposit for a period of four moths which elapsed last week”. We are now getting information that those his cohorts are mounting pressure on him to allow them invest it for another two months” Prince Chijoke said.

The group maintained that if by the end of Tuesday 31st of May, 2022 the fund is not released “we will short down this nation starting from the personal house of the DG in Cross Rivers State and all NIRSAL offices nation wide, block all the major roads in the country and withdraw the services of all our members”

You will recall that the Federal Government in 2018 made available the sum of about N200b as loan for the members of Naee and the fund was eventually released some time 2021 for immediate disbursement to 4 million beneficiaries across the country.
