GROUP DEMANDS JUSTICE FOR 19 YEARS OLD LADY, PRECIOUS AGBOKHADE RAPED, STABBED TO DEATH IN EDO STATE

.... Urges the Edo state government and Nigeria Police, to, as a matter of urgency, speed up proper investigations in order to fish out her murderers and ensure that they are brought to justice.

The leadership of the Niger Delta Youth Council of Nigeria (NDYCN) has,  condemned in its entirety, the brutal murder of Precious Agbokhade, after she was raped, by yet to be identified persons, in her country home at Agenebode, Estako East Local Government Area of Edo state.

The tragic incident, according to reports, happened on Sunday July 17, while the deceased, Precious was all alone at home after her parents and siblings had gone to church.

The NDYCN, in a statement signed by Comrade Blessing Adogbeji, National President of the group, and a copy made available to naijnewsalert.com, revealed that that the highly distraught family returned home only to find her lifeless body in the pool of her own blood.

The NDYCN, in the statement, described the murder as callous, inhuman and condemnable by all right thinking persons.

He said; "This high level of heartlessness and the lack of any sense of humanity cannot be tolerated in broad daylight as we just lost a promising youth to mother earth.

"On behalf of the NDYCN, we condole with the family of the disease, praying God to give them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. A loss not just only to the family, but to the state and country at large.

"We urge the Edo state government and Nigeria Police as a matter of urgency to speed up proper investigations in order to fish out her murders and ensure that they are brought to justice.
