Support groups are group of individual persons with common ideology, coming together to work or support a cause to succeed.

This is not exceptional with political support groups.

For over years 15 years I have been involved in the leadership of political support groups across the country either as the group leader or as a top national member of such political support groups.

Today, I am by the grace of God, the State Secretary of the Plateau State Atiku Volunteer Groups Management Team; a Team that has registered over 350 support groups for Atiku Abubakar and other PDP candidates in Plateau State.

We did not only register the support groups, but we manage these groups by holding meetings with their leaderships.

Yes, we have received complains from the leaderships of support groups about shortage of Campaign Materials and funding of political activities but we always make our support groups to understand that this is why they are needed to provide support to our candidates by offering their services to cheer our candidates to victory.

Support Groups are highly important machineries and special vehicles for electoral victory.

Support groups help in door to door mobilization for candidates victory.

Support Groups are medium for fast dessemination of information to electorates through their members on their platforms.

Support Groups have so many vital roles to play in electioneering activities but let me focus on the defection of some members of the Atiku Support Organization (ASO) to APC to support Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

We, the Atiku Volunteer Groups Management Team AVGMT are not shaken or flustered by the defection of those members of ASO, instead we are stronger by the eviction of bad eggs from among us.

These bad eggs had been trying to infiltrate some of our members who not only resisted them, but equally exposed and shamed them.

Taking a closer look at their reasons for decamping to the APC, you will be convinced that they only did so to achieve their selfish and personal interests.

The defectors do not have the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians at heart, instead, they are more concerned with what their pockets and bank accounts will look like.

In their decamping statement, you can hear them requesting for materialistic things.

I want to make it categorically clear, as a member of Atiku Volunteer Groups Management Team, that our Support for His Excellency Atiku Abubakar remains unshakeable.

We will continue to work towards the victory of our Principal, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar and all PDP candidates at all levels.

We are concerned with Rescuing Nigeria.

We believe in the ability and capacity of our Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and we will support him to electoral victory.

Finally, I wish to call on all supporters and all Atiku Support Groups to disregard any thing that is capable of distracting our attention.

Let us remain focus and United.

We shall soon get to the promise land.

Don't look back, we have just few weeks to celebrate our victory.
