DELTA APC EXECUTIVES HAIL APPOINTMENT OF OKUMAGBA INTO NDDC BOARD .... Says Appointment Is Long Overdue

Executive Officers of the All Progressive Congress, APC Delta state chapter have congratulated Chief Bernard  Okumagba on his appointment as the Delta State representative on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

The Executive members of the APC, Okumagba 2 Ward 12 under Warri South Constituency II congratulated Chief Bernard Okumagba following his appointment into the NDDC Board.

A statement signed by Comrade Gabriel Omorere on behalf of his colleagues penultimate week, said;

"On behalf of the APC Okumagba 2 Ward 12, we the Executive members congratulate you Sir, Chief Bernard Okumagba on your appointment as the member representing Delta State in the NDDC Board. I am not surprised because I know you are an expert in your profession and whatever you do. I know you are a technocrat. Your appointment is long overdue."

APC Okumagba 2 Ward 12 Chairman, Comrade Gabriel Omorere spoke on behalf of the Executive members with Our Correspondent in Warri.

He said the appointment of Chief Bernard Okumagba is for the good people of the State.

Comrade Omorere, who is also a Warri based human right activist urged the people of Delta State to give their support to Chief Okumagba who is a good party man with the aim at ensuring that he succeeds in his new office.

He said the Okumagba 2 ward 12 APC won the Ward 12, and other Wards in the Warri South LGA and the whole of Warri South Constituency in the just concluded general elections because of the financial and moral support of Chief Bernard Okumagba.

According to Comrade Omorere, "Anyone that is accessible to Okumagba benefits from him irrespective of their tribe and religion."

Comrade Omorere added that better days are ahead for the people of Delta State with Chief Bernard Okumagba as a representative on the saddle of the Commission's Board.
