DELTA CDHR GETS NEW EXECUTIVES ..... Edariese Others Return Unopposed

Newly Inaugurated Delta CDHR Executives

"We shall not disappoint CDHR. We will fight, defend and provide succour to the oppressed in society." Elder Comrade Edariese.


The Delta State Branch of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, CDHR on Saturday elected new Executives to pilot it affairs in the next two years, with Comrade (Elder) A. Peter Edariese and other members returned unopposed. 

The new executive emerged at its 2023 biennial/delegates conference held at Udu in Udu Local Government Area.

The new executive were promptly sworn-in by the National President, Dr. Osagie Obayuwana ably represented by Barr. Henry Ekinne, National Legal Adviser.

He told the returning Executives that their tenure begins now.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade (Elder) A P. Edariese who spoke on behalf of the returning Executives, promised to uphold all that the CDHR stands for. 

According to him, "We will fight, defend and provide succour to the oppressed in society."

He added by saying, "We shall not disappoint CDHR."


Members of the new executive include, Comrade (Elder) A P. Edariese, Chairman, Comrade John Osiagbovo, Vice Chairman, Comrade Ossai Darlington Ogaga, Secretary, Comrade Chika Madu,.

Others are, Assistant Secretary, Comrade Collins Abegha, Treasurer, Comrade Eziaroma Humphrey, Assistant Publicity Secretary and Comrade Nosa Godswill who polled 11 votes to defeat Comrade Fidelis Okperigho who managed to garner three (3) votes in the position of the Publicity Secretary.
