Engr  Ejiro Damijo
Chairman, Education Committee,
Aladja Community Council,
 Udu Local Government, Delta State

"The Community calls on Oborevwori who is an old student of Aladja Grammar School to see that the fence is done shortly, in order to curb the trauncy of the students who come late to school and leave before closing." Engr. Damijo.

The Chairman, Education Committee, Aladja Community Council, ACC in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, Engr. Ejiro Damijo today said there are not enough desks and library for pupils and Students of Ewvirhe Primary School and Aladja Grammar School in Aladja Community.

Engr. Damijo, in a chat with NaijNewsAlert, said Aladja Grammar School has not been fenced, noting that the absence of the perimeter fence is affecting the control of the students.

According to him, "Students easily move around and even go home without returning back because there is no gate to checkmate them."

While pointing out that teachers also abandon their duties and do businesses inside the classrooms, Engr. Damijo said hoodlums also come into the school to vandalize its facilities.

He however said the perimeter fencing of the Grammar School in Aladja is their greatest concern of the Community.

He stressed that the Head Mistress and Principal complained about the lack of desks and library for the pupils and Students on daily basis.

Engr. Damijo appealed to the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to use his office to provide the schools with adequate desks, libraries and security for the two schools.

Engr. Damijo also said the governor should provide a perimeter fence for Aladja Grammar School to provide adequate security for the students and teachers.

"The Community calls on Oborevwori who is an old student of Aladja Grammar School to see that the fence is done shortly, in order to curb the trauncy of the students who come late to school and leave before closing.

"If there is perimeter fence for school, it will help the Vigilantes (local security) who help in maintaining law and order in the school as that will help to check the excesses of the students and the incursion of the community people into the school during and after school hours.

"Because there is no perimeter fence, it is easy for people to enter the school to steal."
