SENATOR LA PUSHES FOR REPEAL OF NATIONAL EYE CENTRE ACT (Amendment) BILL 2023.... Says His People Deserve Quality Representation

Kaduna state, particularly residents of Kaduna Central Senatorial District where Malam Lawal Adamu Usman, PhD, the very unassuming, versatile and philanthropic gentleman represents in the Hallowed Red Chamber of the National Assembly, have every reason to celebrate and thank God Almighty for finally giving them a leader with the peoples welfare in mind.

Popularly addressed by the acronym; MR. LA, this philanthropist and political leader had carved a name for himself across the state and, it was therefore no surprise when he was overwhelmingly supported to clinch the ticket of the PDP in the general elections.

Since his inauguration as a member of the 10th National Assembly, Mr. LA is reported to have put the well-being and welfare of the electorates first. In his determination at ensuring that the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial District get quality representation and leadership, his first Bill on the floor of the Senate has brought about its passage to the first Reading.

The Bill, according to Distinguished Senator LA, "My first Bill on the floor of the Senate on repealing the National Eye Centre Act (Amendment) Bill, 2023 (SB. 83) has passed its first reading. I am well determined to give the people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone the quality representation they deserve." 

This is quality representation uploading for the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial District who have long yearned for this.


Mr. LA's first tenure in the Hallowed Red Chamber of the National Assembly is already been celebrated with prayers for his success and growth in the legislative arm of government and of course, greater recognition in appointments and elective offices.

Aside having pushed, on the floor of the Senate for the completion of the Abuja-Kaduna expressway that is long overdue, Senator LA is also concerned about the security to lives of commuters that ply the ever busy link road from the FCT and the northwest states of the country. 

The recent bill by the Distinguished Senator LA for the repealing the National Eye Centre Act (Amendment) Bill, 2023 (SB. 83) is one that should be supported by other Senators in the country, not minding the State of location as, "he who wears the shoes, knows where it pinches."
