The Minister of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu's visit to Benue State has left an indelible impression on the people of the State.

The people of the State who welcomed Dr Betta with so much excitement, with the hope of a better tomorrow which the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu promised, thanked her for bringing the promise of Renewed Hope to them.

Women displaced from their homes in Makurdi, Benue state appreciating God Almighty, following the intervention of the Humanitarian Affairs & Poverty Alleviation Minister, Betta Edu and the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Tinubu administration.

In their appreciation, His Royal Majesty, the Tor of Makurdi, on behalf of the Tor Tiv, James Ayatse, thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on behalf of the people of Benue State.

While speaking with the Minister of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation, he said; "Tell President Bola Tinubu that the People of Benue will never forget him, especially the 8 Local Government Areas affected by this crises.

"What our people needed most above everything else is to go back to our Ancestral homes. We never believed we will step our feet here again. 

"The rebuilding of our Ancestral Homes which the President have started today solves our problems.  

"Just secure us, we will go home and farm, as the Food Basket of the Nation we will support his Food Security Agenda, we will feed the Nation, we have a very fertile soil!" His Royal Majesty stated.
