UMAHI UNDERTAKES, COMPLETES 446KMS INSPECTION EXERCISE OF ABUJA-NASSARAWA-ENUGU ROAD IN ONE DAY

Senator Dave Umahi, Works Minister in talks with the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency,  Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on Thursday night when the Minister stopped to inspect the reconstructed New Artisan Bridge in Enugu, executed by the Federal Goverment.

"Indeed, this approach to assigned responsibilities of the Engr David Umahi led Ministry of Works is indicative of a positive new dawn for the country's road infrastructure masterplan under His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR."

Nigerians have lauded the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr David Nweze Umahi MON for his unflinching commitment and determination to pursue to fruition, the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration which is hinged on quality leadership and service delivery to all Nigerians and also, improve on the road infrastructure across the country.

This follows on the heels of the visit of the Minister to ongoing reconstruction work sites which covers over 446 kmz going through the roughest parts of  the Abuja-Enugu federal road (Mararaba-Keffi-Oturkpo-Enugu roads) which saw the inspection tour terminating in Enugu state in the late hours of the night of Thursday, 25 January, 2024.

At Enugu, the Honourable Minister of continued his inspection visit to another Federal Government project where he visited the collapsed New Artisan Bridge  already being reconstructed at about 2100 hours to check the progress status.  He also used the opportunity to visit the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency,  Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mba where matters of infrastructural importance to Enugu  State were discussed.

Indeed, this approach to assigned responsibilities of the Engr David Umahi led Ministry of Works is indicative of a positive new dawn for the country's road infrastructure masterplan under His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

Nigerians are compelled therefore, to agree that the approach towards actualizing the road Infrastructure master plan is being meticulously and comprehensively executed by a thorough bred engineer and aptitude professional.
