A strong political Ally of the former Governor of Kaduna state, Aisha Galadima has been reportedly arrested by operatives of the Department of State Security Services, DSS.

Reports from close sources say Aisha was arrested by the DSS personnel on Sunday afternoon at her Tudun Wada residence in Kaduna following what some close sources says connects to a recent post on her Facebook page against the incumbent Governor of the state, Senator Uba Sani.

Aisha Galadima is said to be one of the close confidants of Malam Ahmad Nasir el-Rufai, former Governor of the state who, in recent times attracted public attention when his successor claimed he had plunged the state into huge debts which has made payment of salaries of workers under the employ of the state government, difficult.
