Professor Francis Adedayo Faduyile OON, has emerged Chairman of the Committee of Chairmen of the Governing Councils of the Federal Colleges of Education.

The emergence of Prof Faduyile, a Professor of Pathology and Forensic Medicine and Chairman Governing Council of the Federal College of Education Kotangora Niger State, follows an election by the Committee of Chairmen at her maiden inaugural meeting held at the National Headquarters of the National Commission for Colleges of Education Abuja.

The University Teacher, Writer, Philanthropist, Activist and a Prince of Ikale Kingdom thanked the committee of Chairmen made up of highly cerebral, reputable, erudite Scholars and highly skilled experts from the various fields of endeavor for finding him worthy of the position.

For him, it was another time to stand tall and showcase his medals and unblemished profile, with a resumè that provides details of his astute qualities.

Professor Francis Adedayo Faduyile OON specifically thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR for the appointment of the Chairmen and members of the Governing Council of all Federal Government's Tertiary Institutions.

He assured that the move will re-energize and galvanize development across the Institutions.

He however appealed to all appointees to join hands with the Ministers and Ministry of Education to fulfill the mandate and aspiration of President Tinubu for the education sector and as such, make the sector more viable and better able to compete globally.

The Committee of Chairmen of the Colleges of Education will serve alongside other appointed officers as representatives of the Chairmen of the Governing Council.
