HEALTH SECTOR REFORM: FG PREPARES FOR JOINT ANNUAL REVIEW

The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has concluded arrangements to hold a Stakeholders' meeting tagged: ''2024 Nigeria Health Sector-Wide Joint Annual Review (JAR)''. This in furtherance of efforts to reposition the health sector,  

According to a statement issued and signed by Alaba Balogun, Head, Press and Public Relations Department of the Ministry, the Stakeholders meeting is with a view to rejig performance and, highlight achievements recorded under its newly operationalized Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp).

"The maiden 2024 Nigeria Health Sector-Wide Joint Annual Review JAR will feature two major components-technical review sessions where Stakeholders will assess key performance indicators and a high- level political review to secure the political commitment needed to advance Nigeria's Health priorities and goals." The statement read.

The JAR meeting is scheduled to hold from 6-8 November 2024 in Abuja.
