TRAGEDY: GUNMEN KILL PDP CHAIRMAN

Yet to be identified gunmen, have reportedly shot dead, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).



The PDP chieftain, Paul Onomuakpokpo, Chairman of Ward 4 (Olomu Ward 1), in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State was reportedly shot and killed on Wednesday night, along the Ogoni Road near the palace of Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom.

Trending reports states that, the unknown assassins were said to have ambushed the deceased at about 7pm and rained bullets on him.

The victim died on the spot as his killers also riddled the deceased’s Toyota Camry (Spider) he was driving at the time, with bullets

It was learnt that the gunmen had fired into the air repeatedly until they ensure that he was dead.
