Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Delta state, Olorogun Eddie Ono-Sorhue has condoled with the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and the entire members of the state legislature over the death of Hon. Tim Kome Ohwofere, KSc, the Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly.
In a statement issued on Sunday at his country home in Udu, Chief Ono-Sorhue said that "the death of Hon. Owhefere is a loss to the PDP, the good people of Isoko and the state in general, adding that the vacuum created by the passing of this astute leader will be too great to replace immediately following his positive contributions to the growth of democracy in the state".
He prayed for God's mercy and enjoined the the Speaker and other members of the State Assembly and the Isoko people to take solace in God at this period in time, and also, comforted the immediate family of the late Tim Ohwofere for this irreparable loss".
"Ohwofere imprinted his name in the political sand of Delta politics and will be sorely missed by all".
"May the Lord grant his departed soul eternal rest", Ono-Sorhue prayed.
