Kaduna PDP: Senator Laah Disassociates Self From Restoration Group..... Calls for Unity
"I, as a serving senator of the PDP won't want the party to fail for any reason".... Senator Danjuma Laah.
.... "Reaffirms undivided loyalty to the party".
.... "Insists on the need to address the inability of the leaders to unite the party by lack of justice and the promotion of internal democracy".
The Senator representing Kaduna south Senatorial Zone, Danjuma Laah has urged his party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to unite for progress of the opposition in Kaduna state and the nation at large.
He tasked party leaders to ensure that justice and equity becomes the norm.
While responding to media correspondents via a private phone call, Senator Laah reaffirmed his undivided loyalty to the party, but went on to insist on the need to address the inability of the leaders to unite the party by lack of justice and the promotion of internal democracy.
According to Senator Laah, "I, as a serving senator of the PDP won't want the party to fail for any reason. I therefore stand to say that unity is key, especially as opposition. I also hope that the State Working Committee quickly intervenes for peace to reign."
Recall that a factional group within the PDP in Kaduna state known as the "Restoration Movement" emerged in the past days. This has brought about questions regarding the side which the senator has chosen to align with.
