DELTA 2023: THE SACK OF THE EXCOS AND ITS IMPLICATIONS ON THE POLITY..... Rufus Akpobome Ibebe

Gov. Okowa has done nothing new. His body language has always said it from the very beginning that he is not comfortable with this "Delta Central Must Succeed Him Agitation" especially those that many feels have been penned down as his successor.

I saw it, I said it. People called me names. Now it's happening!

Gov. Uduaghan, while in office tried what Gov. Okowa is doing now. He did not succeed but there is a big difference between him and Gov. Okowa. That difference, I would talk about in another day.

My message has always been; "Delta Central Unite Or Lose The Governorship Position In 2023".

All appointees have been sacked and those that would be appointed would not only be loyal to him, but ready and may be placed on oath to do his biddings.

One of such biddings would be of course, to support, irrespective of the Senatorial District, any candidate that he (Gov. Okowa) decides to become Governor.

Another of that bidding would be to ensure that they (new appointees) ensure that the agenda of others (whether from the same Senatorial District with them) as far as the Governorship race of 2023 is concerned, fails.

I feel for those that would be appointed, carrying out the task of ensuring that whoever Gov. Okowa decides upon becomes Governor, would be a very tedious task. It would also be a task that may make many of them lose the little respect that people from their Senatorial District have for them.

The forth coming days would be very interesting as far as political activities in Delta State is concerned.
