A tweet, from the verified Twitter handle of Jackson Ude, Publisher of PointBlankNews.com disclosed that the Minister in charge of the Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has not relented in his fleecing of the resources of the agency through any and available means.

According to Ude, in order to remain in control with his crony, running the day to day activities of the NDDC, "Akpabio has reportedly paid a whooping $5m dollars to some officials in the Presidency to extend the tenure of Effiong Akwa as the Sole Administrator of the NDDC".

"This is even as fears are heightened over the safety of $1.6bn dollars being the contribution of the International Oil Companies", he tweeted.
